Operation: Prairie Wind 2 (June 23rd)
 

After the tremendous success of Operation: Prairie Wind, the strength of the European Union was unquestionable. The small scattered forces of the North American joint strike force were shattered, and North America itself now feels the repercussions of their actions. There is no question now: The European Union now stands as the economic and military superpowers in the world.

The stubbornness of North American forces however managed to scramble and hold in certain key areas, and small pockets of their forces still remain in Belarus. EU intelligence suggests that North American forces are now attempting once again to gain a foothold in an abandoned Soviet training area.

At 1100H, an American C130 aircraft dropped a mysterious package near said training area. For both sides, investigating this package is of the utmost importance. For the North Americans, infiltration and seizing key points in this area is vital to sustaining operations in the area, and for the ongoing effort in fighting back against the European Union. For the EU, this proves to be an excellent chance to ambush and destroy another pocket of American resistance once and for all, before they have a chance to seize a foothold in the country.

Op: Prairie Wind 2 Timeline:

Game is at the MAA Ranch (Please PM for directions if you do not already have them)

Game Day Signup and Chronying will begin promptly at 1000H
Briefing for Commanders will at 1100H
Game starts at 1200H and will end at 2000H

Op: Prairie Wind 2 Rules Set:
-Game rules will follow current MAA rules set with the following additions:
-No more than 500 rounds will be allowed on your person at any one time, this may be in the form of loose ammunition, bb loaders, magazines, midcaps or highcaps. This excludes grenade shells, mortar shells and LMG’s.
-A reminder that LMG’s AND Sidearms MUST chrony under 350 fps to be allowed to play.
-There will be no gameplay vehicles in Prairie Wind 2.
-Respawning players will be spawned every 10 minutes.

During this operation there will be only two forces actively present: The European Union and the combined North American strike force. There will also be United Nations forces present and inactive game organizers.

These forces are divided by camouflage:
North American Forces will be wearing digital camo: CADPAT, MARPAT, ACU etc.
European Union Forces will be wearing other camouflage: Olive Drab, Tigerstripe, US Woodland, DPM, Multicam Etc.
United Nations Forces will be wearing distinctive bright blue helmet covers and vests.
Due to the requirements for the game, matching tops and bottoms will be required. (Example: No Cadpat BDU jackets with Woodland Pants)

I won't mind. I'll be sitting under a tent listening to the radio... Cookin' up some beans and what not. Fun times y'all...

How is it that the Navy division gets to sit in a tent and cook gas catalyst while the Army division has to actually move around and work? May the mosquitoes be especially bad this year and plague your fixed position!
On a more serious note: Sign up people! There's less than a month left before the game!

BTW: USD Woodland isn't that expensive. IIRC it came out to less than 90 dollars with tax...

And Olive Drab's cheap! Used stuff goes regularly for less than fifty.
