They did get hacked, AFAIK. I believe there were security issues and a hacker decided to hack them just to show that he could.
Good way to introduce himself to the airsoft community, since he expressed that he was interested in getting into airsoft after telling everyone that he'd hacked the forums.

Lol, that's sad. I was under the impression that that guy had actually broken in with some real skil(z). So it was just a kid with a modem all along...

well i honestly like the look of the new forums. but it was a shame that we had lost all of our threads on the old ones. oh well. Time to get the good times going again

Yea there was an exploit on the old boards, Jaques from 204TASK sent quite a few emails warning the admin about it but I guess nothing was done to update to the newest version of the boards.
It wasn't really downloading a hack, it was a plugin for Firefox that allowed the user to see certain values, these values were stored in a cookie on the computer. so the 'hacker' actually had to use a fair bit of skill actually. coding wise. Although if he was just following directions from a website then yea not as good, but still..... Last edited by Verbal : 05-04-2005 at 03:12 PM.

Still just as funny IMO. As it is, he didn't actually need to download anything at all, he just read it off another page. :P
