Hey guys, I got a question. I bought a 1-point tactical sling and the burnsied loop or w/e it's called, but I have no idea how to install it! So if anyone has some info on this, or if I can just bring it into XT and have the fine people there do it for me ... that'd be awesome.

You buy it for airsoft or for real-steel? If you bought one for a real M4A1, I got some bad news: the real-steel one won't fit; there's a difference in the tube diameter for the stock between most airsoft models and real steel.

If you have the airsoft version, follow my instructions:

Remove your stock. Undo the screw that holds the stock tube from the back of the gun and remove the whole assembly. Fit the burnsed loop in front of the stock tube (between the tube and the body), then reinstall everything. Simple.

Well I did buy from the site you suggested to me when I asked about slings awhile ago, so hopefully I got the right one Guess I'll find out after work when I try it out.

Meh, even if it doesn't fit, just post it up on www.canadiangunnuts.com (a real-steel forum) and someone there will take it off your hands. Then flip the money into an airsoft-specific one.
