Question G'day,

Can we have an idea of the rule set/scenario etc? Or will it be "kill everything that moves that doesn't have a gun"?

Sorry guys I know this is pretty last minute. We planned the date and wrote it down on the calendar. But forgot to make a post about it until now :P

The rules will be pretty similar to last year’s zombie game/event.

The point is simple. During your 1 hour time duration, see how many players you can convert to a zombie, or back to a human. At the end of the session we will do a head count to see which team wins.

To get zombified: A zombie must remove two tags from the humans (tags will be kill rags sticking out of the players pockets). Once the human has no more tags, they will automatically be converted to be a zombie.

Rules for the Tags:
-Must be hung around the players waist line (Side pockets preferred)
-75% of the tag must be exposed
-Must NOT be tied down (Hung loose so the tags can easily be removed by the zombies)

This is a "springer only" game. (No aeg's, gbb's, Gas guns or high powered springers).

Shooting the Zombies:
-Head shots are not permitted (If reports have been made of players shooting zombies in the head. The player will be removed from further game play immediately.
-Center Mass ONLY (If you hit the zombie anywhere else, you'll just make the zombie mad)
-Once you hit this area the zombie will then stop in its tracks but still permitted to move to "tag"/"zombify" people. (Much like freeze tag for those of you who remember the game.....). Shooting the zombie will not eliminate the zombie, it only buys you more time. Your “springer” is more like a leg tranquilizer then a gun.
-The zombie's legs will freeze for six seconds after being hit

To convert a zombie:
-A special Serum is located somewhere inside the gaming arena. A limited amount is provided. So please be careful when using it. (The special antidote aka “Water” CANNOT BE REFILLED by the player in the mens room!!!! I guess I should’ve clarified that during the last event).
-You must find the serum, and inject it on the back of the zombie’s neck. (NOTE: The back of the zombie’s neck must be exposed so they can feel the “Serum” infuse into their skin…….get wet).

I hope that answers some of the questions you guys might have.

Gord

Lights are a YES. AEP's are going to be a NO. They are low fps but the semi auto and fully auto capabilities makes them unfair.

it went great. Everyone seems to have alot of fun and lots to talk about.

Next year we will plan it a little better and give everyone more advance notice. We are thinking of making them every sunday for the month of October.

There will always be a next year. We've been doing these zombie games for 4.5 years so far So there's many more to come.
